Jenny Sutherland (President & Founder)
Jenny is a pharmacist by trade, but turned equine enthusiast as a result of a personal response of healing and increased confidence seen firsthand in her daughter Ansley and a horse named Buster. Jenny's love for horses began as a child and was then placed on hold for many years until her daughters fell in love with them too.
Jenny began her horse career in 2012. She along with her daughters became volunteers at Trinity Horse Rescue in Acworth, GA. As a volunteer, Jenny learned normal day-to day care of horses, feeding schedules, types of feed, haltering, leading, ground work, and more. Jenny then participated in a 5 month training program funded by the United States Humane Society, Homes For Horses Coalition, and The Forever Foundation entitled Plan 4 Progress. This was an online training program for horse rescue volunteers to further their knowledge in horse husbandry and training. The 5 month program culminated in a 3 day clinic in which their newly acquired knowledge was demonstrated with hands on work with horses. Jenny is certified in equine-assisted psychotherapy and equine-assisted learning from the founder of EAP, Greg Kersten. Jenny has also attended the Similar Ministries Program from Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch in Bend, Oregon.
Jenny and her family own the farm WonderLand Ranch which includes 7 horses, 1 mule, 2 miniature donkeys, 4 chickens, 5 dogs, and 5 cats.
